Becca Collins Fundraiser 2005

Becca was a completely healthy, happy, and intelligent little girl up until about 2 years ago. She stopped progressing as a normal child would and began regressing. Within the past year she has suffered damage to her retinas and is legally blind. After the 2 years of visits and tests with medical specialists in a multitude of fields we finally received a diagnosis of Infantile Batten disease. It is a very rare disease that strikes only when both parents carry the same recessive gene. A family could carry the gene forever and never have it show up. However, once it does show up, each child in that family stands an equal chance of inheriting both recessive genes. Gratefully, at this time her older sister and baby brother do not have the disease.

We are hoping to alleviate some of the financial burden on her family with this auction.

EXTREMELY RARE!

Memory Guitars

Completely hand-crafted out of solid maple. Each one is custom painted with a minimum of forty layers of clear coat finish. They stand 41" tall and there is a mounting hole routed in the back for hanging on your wall. Shapes are similar to those used by Journey band members.

The first, Generations Tour Guitar holds a 5x7 promo photo of Journey. And has all the Generations song titles on it. While the second, 30th Anniversary has a 4x6 slot for you to add your own photo.

We feel extremely blessed that Papa Meyer has generously offered these items to us. Now, it's up to you guys to give them a good home!

Good Luck to All!
